Perform regular maintenance and inspections on all makes and models of automotive vehicles with gasoline and hybrid engines specifically for 4 wheel vehicles or light trucks, these includes regularly replacing engine oil and oil filters, rotating tires and balancing, checking brake pads, rotors, and fluid levels of brake system, inspecting and topping off essential fluids such as coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and power steering fluid, assessing the condition of the vehicle's battery and charging system, and replacing batteries when necessary, and changing air, fuel, and cabin filters. Diagnose/Identify problems by using computerized diagnostic equipment or conduct visual inspection to detect worn or damaged parts. Performs necessary repair such as engine fixing or replacing of components such as timing belts, water pumps, and head gasket or performing complete engine rebuilds. Servicing, repairing or replacing transmission systems including clutch replacements in manual transmission. Replacing Brake pads, rotors, calipers, and brake lines. Repairing or replacing shock absorber, struts, control arms and steering components. Troubleshooting and repairing issues with fuses and sensors. Replacing mufflers, catalytic converters, and exhaust pipes. Discuss vehicle issues with customers, explain diagnostic findings and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance to service advisors and customers.
